Requirements
Must:
- Experience in datacenter or laboratory operations
- In-depth knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers and storage devices, particularly PowerStore, along with networking fundamentals such as switch configuration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu) and virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, hands-on attitude
- Excellent communication skills for documenting processes, managing support tickets, and collaborating with engineers
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is favorable
- Familiarity with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cybersecurity practices is advantageous
- Project management experience with Agile methodologies is desired
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networking switches, and storage appliances
- Ensure compliance with security standards, monitor vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies
- Automate tasks such as operating system deployment, patching, and updates to lab infrastructure (using VMware ESXi/vCenter, Linux, and Windows)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to convert technical specifications into lab-ready solutions
- Maintain lab automation tools, document procedures, and contribute to standardized workflows

We are seeking a Lab Support Senior Engineer to join our Lab Support Engineering Team in Franklin, Massachusetts, and Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Our team is dedicated to providing 24/7 lab access and support across various locations. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure within datacenter and validation lab environments.
