Requirements
Must:
- 8-12 years of experience in creating complex, large-scale software systems with strong backend development skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages
- Extensive knowledge in data warehousing and lakehouse architectures, including aspects such as data modeling, governance, and presentation platforms
- Practical experience in constructing and managing data pipelines, orchestration, and transformations using tools like Airflow, Spark, dbt, or NiFi
- Advanced understanding of distributed and cloud-native systems, including event-driven architectures, APIs, performance optimization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and various database platforms (e.g., Kafka)
- Proven capability to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot intricate systems, showcasing technical leadership, mentoring, and collaborative skills across teams
- Experience in integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise systems, such as agentic AI patterns, LLM-driven automation, autonomous agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases (desirable)
- Strong grounding in modern platform engineering, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, GitOps, Kubernetes tooling, security practices, and contributions to platform strategy or architectural governance (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of data and information systems that support ISG business operations
- Develop comprehensive and performance-oriented data-driven software solutions, ensuring reliability and maintainability over time
- Take ownership of complex technical implementations, focusing on risk identification, mitigation, and problem-solving
- Conduct design and code reviews while guiding and mentoring both senior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate across functions to deliver enterprise-grade integrations and drive modernization initiatives, influencing engineering standards and platform strategies
