Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Quality Assurance Automation, or software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems and high availability testing
- Proficient coding skills in Python, Go Lang, or automation scripting languages, with a strong understanding of automation frameworks such as PyTest, JUnit, or TestNG
- Familiarity with Linux, container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and networking fundamentals, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Previous exposure to chaos testing, fault injection, or large-scale system benchmarking
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Background in testing scale-out storage systems such as Cohesity, Rubrik, NetApp, or EMC (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated testing frameworks for distributed storage and data protection systems
- Build and maintain comprehensive test suites to validate system resilience, clustering, and high availability at scale
- Simulate real-world performance scenarios and failure conditions to ensure system robustness
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance testability and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for swift, high-quality software releases
- Analyze intricate issues within distributed clusters, driving continuous enhancements in testing coverage and efficiency
