Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in build/release engineering or DevOps (or comparable expertise)
- Proficient in CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Skilled in Python, Bash, or Groovy for automation tasks
- Familiar with Git-based source control management, artifact management systems (Artifactory/Nexus), and containerized builds (Docker/K8s)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Understanding of modern build systems like Bazel, CMake, and cloud CI/CD (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance build/release pipelines for intricate, distributed software
- Spearhead enhancements in CI/CD workflows, automation, and developer efficiency
- Diagnose build failures and uphold branching, versioning, and governance protocols
- Incorporate test automation and security measures into pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for the adoption of contemporary build tools and methodologies
