Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- I possess over 3 years of experience in IT systems analysis, project management, and/or product management. This experience includes managing and supporting technologies in an Academic Medical Center. I am familiar with desktop technologies, business applications, operational process enhancements, cloud solutions, productivity tools, and custom-developed systems. My background encompasses IT requirements, architecture, design, configuration, licenses, identity management, data migrations, integrations, testing, training, and related communications and change management.
Responsibilities
- I will evaluate current systems to ensure they meet required standards.
- I will assess organizational requirements for integrating quality systems and interfaces with existing platforms (e.g., REDCap) and future systems (e.g., Epic).
- In collaboration with stakeholders, I will develop system reporting capabilities.
- I will conduct regular audits and reviews to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- I will create and implement testing methodologies and quality control procedures.
- I will deepen my understanding of quality systems and their functionalities.
- I will lead or help research and consolidate information to identify and suggest potential business and organizational partnerships.
- I will leverage my knowledge of relevant systems and applications to recommend process improvements for workflow and problem resolution.
- I will investigate operational procedures, suggesting modifications to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- To ensure compliance, I will verify that all processes adhere to industry and company standards, preparing and presenting reports on system performance to management.
- I will identify training needs and arrange sessions for staff, providing consultancy support in evaluating new systems. Additionally, I will assist in mentoring team members regarding new processes and systems.
- I will promptly identify and resolve system issues, documenting bugs and collaborating with the development team to resolve them. I will conduct root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
- I will undertake special projects assigned by leadership, remain up-to-date with industry trends in quality systems analysis, and assist in developing new quality assurance tools and techniques.
Description
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field, 3 years of experience in quality systems analysis or project management within a healthcare environment, and certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL, Agile, among others related to IT service and project management. - The salary range for this position starts at $72,000, depending on qualifications. - Working conditions involve standard office equipment and repetitive use of a keyboard. - Required materials for application include a resume/CV, three professional references (with at least one from a supervisor), and a letter of interest. - For non-current university employees or contingent workers, you will need to submit your resume with your initial application and upload any additional required materials through the application portal. - Current university employees must apply through Workday and update their Professional Profile before sending their application, including uploading their resume and responding to any application questions regarding additional materials.
