Requirements

Must:
- Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in relevant Core application is required. - Strong understanding of IT principles, software development, and system analysis, typically evidenced by a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - Practical experience in healthcare IT settings and comprehensive knowledge of clinical information systems, usually shown through at least 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare IT or Epic systems. - Proven track record in information systems implementation, development, and support within a large-scale healthcare organization. - ITIL Foundation certification is preferred. - Extensive experience with clinical information systems, generally demonstrated by 5-7 years of relevant experience. - Experience as a major contributor in EHR configuration and online scheduling design and execution.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, configure, test, and maintain clinical information systems, focusing on patient registration, scheduling, billing, and throughput. - Act as a liaison among business operations, healthcare providers, internal IT, system users, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project objectives for issue resolution. - Support end-users remotely and in-person by monitoring, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incoming tickets. - Coordinate system fixes and changes with software vendors, involving the training team and operations for application deployment. - Create test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow modifications, performing testing of system configurations. - Collaborate with technical colleagues to identify any infrastructure issues leading to clinical application challenges. - Provide ongoing support to end users through system upgrades, new releases, enhanced functionalities, and problem resolution, adhering to outlined ITIL processes.
