Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a mentoring capacity is preferred, with a desire to grow into a leadership position
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly within enterprise systems
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical parties
- Proven track record in managing tasks, prioritizing effectively, and delivering results in Agile settings
- Backend proficiency with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Azure
- Minimum 3-4 years of frontend experience with Angular; knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, and TypeScript is essential; familiarity with React is a bonus
- Understanding of OAuth, OData, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with mobile development using React Native, Ionic, and Capacitor is advantageous
- Background in cloud solutions with a preference for Azure; familiarity with SOA, Microservices, and distributed system architecture
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines with practical experience in Azure DevOps and automation in build/test/deploy processes is preferred
- Knowledge of code quality tools and practices including unit testing and load testing
- Team-oriented, coachable individual capable of working collaboratively with developers, QA, and product teams
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous knowledge sharing and skill enhancement
- Engage as a senior developer within a cross-functional team, contributing to frontend or backend projects
- Collaborate closely with departmental managers in Development, Quality Assurance, and Delivery to streamline processes and ensure successful outcomes
- Align efforts with Product, Platform, Project, Support, and IT teams for seamless integration and project handover
- Act as a quality assurance advocate on the development team, working with QA to implement best practices and technologies to elevate output quality
- Participate in a continuous improvement program by identifying challenges, leading root cause analysis discussions, and suggesting enhancements for products and processes
- Establish and promote development standards based on industry best practices, managing technical debt and ensuring code maintainability
- Analyze metrics such as delivery speeds and defect ratios to oversee effective sprint execution.
