Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Tier 2 support within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) framework
- Ability to independently troubleshoot intricate IT and network issues
- Strong comprehension of Windows and Linux systems, networking protocols, firewalls, and IT infrastructure
- Skilled in independently resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience in configuring or troubleshooting network switches
- Background with cloud platforms and infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of IT security practices, tools, and monitoring systems
- Capacity to work independently onsite and address infrastructure challenges
- Experience managing escalated cases from Tier 1 technicians
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor for client interactions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-responsibility setting
- Highly detail-oriented and adaptable to various technical challenges
Responsibilities
- Address escalated concerns from Tier 1 technicians with minimal oversight
- Perform complex troubleshooting across hardware, operating systems, and network domains
- Oversee and maintain client IT infrastructures, including servers, workstations, network devices, firewalls, switches, and virtual environments
- Install, configure, and sustain Windows and Linux operating systems
- Deploy, manage, and resolve issues in virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches and related equipment
- Implement patching, system updates, and security protocols to ensure system reliability
- Assist in cloud services, backup solutions, and infrastructure enhancements
- Conduct onsite technical tasks independently, diagnosing and resolving issues autonomously
- Engage in infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, network hardware setups, rack installations, and equipment deployment
- Keep thorough documentation of environments, configurations, and service activities
- Deliver professional communication and technical support to clients

This vital position is tailored for professionals who excel in independently resolving intricate technical challenges while managing onsite work. We operate in a fast-paced managed services environment, and our ideal candidate thrives under high accountability. Although we currently do not provide health insurance, we offer generous paid time off (40 hours of PTO and 40 hours of vacation) after completing the 90-day probationary period.
