Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years of relevant IT software development experience
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience in an agile development setting is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 utilizing C# .NET and VB.NET
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git source control, T-SQL, and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with Microsoft SSRS, ERP software, and warehouse management systems
- Understanding of CSS, Bootstrap, SignalR, Angular, Entity Framework, PowerShell, and MVC is a plus
- High proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to mentor others
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, document, and implement new or modified software
- Manage integration between different business systems to address complex issues
- Ensure software aligns with business requirements and adheres to development standards
- Lead best practice processes throughout the software development life cycle
- Interact effectively with stakeholders, prioritizing customer support with urgency when needed
- Train and mentor software developers in advanced programming techniques
- Directly supervise other developers when required
- Design, code, and implement changes to software applications using a variety of technologies
- Maintain and adjust SQL server databases and security measures
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to verify that requirements are met
- Consult with technical personnel to clarify program goals and address any issues
- Document program development processes, including revisions and comments for clarity
- Prepare workflow diagrams to illustrate system operations
- Collaborate with operators or analysts to define and solve software problems
- Develop applications that interface with SQL Server and SSRS
- Create manuals to assist end users in navigating software functions
- Conduct testing in lower environments to identify errors before production release
- Monitor product quality to prevent shipment of nonconforming items
- Advise on environmental policy implementation and waste reduction strategies
