Requirements

Must:
- Active Secret Clearance - IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE required) - 5-7+ years of DevSecOps/DevOps experience - Proficient in GitLab CI/CD - Strong expertise in Linux and Bash scripting - Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker - Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) - Experience integrating security tools like Fortify and SonarQube - Familiar with Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot) - Excellent troubleshooting and system-level problem-solving abilities - Strong leadership and communication skills - Preferred: Experience supporting DoD or USTRANSCOM systems - Preferred: Knowledge of DISA STIGs and RMF processes - Preferred: Experience with AWS (GovCloud preferred) - Preferred: Background in supporting microservices architectures - Preferred: Experience leading DevSecOps or platform engineering efforts

Responsibilities

- Design and oversee the implementation of GitLab CI/CD pipelines - Create reusable pipeline standards that can be utilized across teams - Enhance build efficiency, dependability, and scalability - Spearhead Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies using Helm - Ensure stable and scalable environments across all system phases - Diagnose complex system and cluster-level challenges - Lead the integration of security tools like Fortify and SonarQube into pipelines - Establish secure software development and deployment practices - Guarantee compliance with DoD security standards (STIGs, RMF) - Collaborate with Angular and Java teams to enhance workflows and delivery pipelines - Mentor and guide mid-level engineers - Advocate the adoption of DevSecOps best practices across teams - Define and keep DevSecOps standards, runbooks, and system documentation updated - Promote well-documented, maintainable systems - Conduct evaluations of tools and practices focused on simplicity and scalability - Drive enhancements in developer experience and system performance
