Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or related roles
- Proficient in SQL and relational database management
- Experience with complex data models and their relationships
- Ability to collaborate with database administrators and development teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
- Skill in translating business needs into effective data solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, suited for both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred:
- Experience in supporting USTRANSCOM or Department of Defense logistics systems
- Familiarity with FISCAM and FIAR data audit requirements
- Background in data modeling or schema design
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based data environments, particularly AWS
- Familiarity with Agile work environments
- Awareness of DISA STIGs and associated security compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of data structures, relationships, and data flows within the IBS systems
- Collaborate with database administrators and developers to enhance database design, data models, and standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders and program leadership to define data requirements and reporting needs
- Create and run complex SQL queries to facilitate analysis, validation, and operational necessities
- Maintain data integrity, consistency, and quality across various applications and environments
- Detect data discrepancies and work alongside technical teams to address them
- Assist in data-driven decision-making regarding system enhancements and modifications
- Design and update reports, dashboards, and data extracts for operational support and leadership
- Facilitate audit and compliance activities, including FISCAM/FIAR validation and reporting
- Document data definitions, flow mappings, and business rules
- Aid in data migration, transformation, and integration initiatives
- Provide ad hoc data analysis and serve as a subject matter expert for stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security protocols, and program standards
