Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE required)
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps
- Proficient with GitLab CI/CD
- Strong skills in Linux and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
- Knowledge of Fortify, SonarQube, or similar tools
- Familiar with Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Department of Defense systems
- Understanding of DISA STIGs and RMF requirements
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments
- Experience with CI-integrated testing and quality gates
- Involvement in release and deployment processes
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, maintenance, and enhancement of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Streamline workflows to boost build reliability and efficiency
- Advocate for reusable pipeline models across teams
- Support Kubernetes deployments utilizing Helm
- Ensure stability across development, test, and production environments
- Diagnose issues with containerized workloads and underlying environments
- Execute and analyze scans using Fortify, SonarQube, and similar tools
- Collaborate with developers to address and prioritize findings
- Embed security measures into pipelines without hindering delivery
- Work closely with Angular and Java teams to refine workflows
- Clearly communicate issues, risks, and proposed improvements
- Create runbooks, documentation, and system architecture diagrams
- Aid onboarding and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Drive DevSecOps advancements in automation and security
- Assess tools with an emphasis on simplicity and effectiveness
Description
At DecisionPoint Corporation, we are in search of a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program. This role centers around enhancing secure and automated software delivery via CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and integrating security practices. We seek an engineer passionate about developing robust systems and enhancing developer workflows. You will work on our GitLab-driven CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, and security integrations within a modern technology stack that includes Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot).
