Requirements

Must:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information System Engineering, Business, or a related technical field in cybersecurity or information technology. - IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) in accordance with DOD 8140 and AFMAN 17-1303. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in functional mission analysis and cybersecurity principles. - Experience in mapping and defending Mission-Relevant Terrain in cyberspace. - Knowledge of IT security principles, concepts, and methods for investigating and responding to cyber incidents. - Familiarity with telecommunications principles and the capabilities of systems for operational efficiency assessment.

Responsibilities

- Provide Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber support to identify critical IT architecture in weapon systems. - Analyze a wide range of network activities to support the command and control processes. - Devise strategies for assessing and mitigating risks in the local cyberspace environment. - Develop and implement methods to merge and present relevant MRT-C data. - Identify trends to establish MRT-C requirements and offer guidance. - Assist with FMA-C by mapping and developing defense plans for MRT-C. - Set up databases to monitor systems and facilitate easier searches. - Use classified and unclassified networks to create support plans for mission activities. - Review and recommend updates for policies, procedures, and organizational structures. - Work with local experts to resolve incidents and provide briefings on actions taken. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and prioritize efforts based on threat analysis. - Perform research and data analysis across various sources for situational awareness. - Collaborate with cyber defense teams to validate network alerts. - Document and escalate incidents that may impact operational environments. - Analyze cyber defense trends and prepare reports on findings. - Correlate events using information from multiple sources to assess attack effectiveness. - Receive and assess network alerts to determine their origins.
