Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in help desk, technical support, or system administration roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting enterprise applications and systems
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier II technical support for IBS users, resolving issues related to systems, applications, and access
- Act as an escalation point for Tier I help desk support, addressing complex or unresolved issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application, system, and integration problems
- Review logs, error messages, and system performance to pinpoint root causes
- Collaborate with development, database, and infrastructure teams to address issues
- Document, track, and manage incidents using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Aid in user account management and processing access requests following security policies
- Provide prompt updates to users regarding the status and resolution of their issues
- Assist in identifying recurring problems and participate in root cause analysis
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation
- Support system deployments and offer post-release assistance
- Ensure adherence to DoD security standards and operational protocols
- Participate in on-call support and after-hours tasks as needed
