Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in front-end development
- Strong skills in Foundation CSS framework, raw HTML/CSS/SCSS, and jQuery
- Familiarity with MVC-based applications (we utilize C# MVC)
- Comfort with Syncfusion components or similar UI libraries
- Proven ability to create clean, intuitive, and responsive UIs for complex business applications
- Strong grasp of UX patterns and front-end performance
- Attention to detail without unnecessary complexity
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup atmosphere
- Self-driven, problem-solving mindset with a passion for software development
- Must be based in the United States; we are not considering outsourcing
- Bonus experience in backend technologies (C#, MVC, MSSQL), Excel/CSV manipulation, data import logic, or SaaS dashboards is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance front-end components across the DealerRock platform
- Improve the usability and consistency of existing screens and workflows
- Implement designs utilizing Foundation CSS, raw HTML, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Work with Syncfusion components (charts, grids, schedulers, etc.) as needed
- Collaborate on new feature ideas and UI/UX decisions
- Partner with backend engineers to integrate data and APIs
- Streamline complex dealer workflows into user-friendly, modern interfaces
- Optionally, handle some backend tasks or assist with data transformations/imports in Excel

We are in search of an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to become a vital member of our expanding team. In this position, you will be instrumental in developing new features, enhancing system performance, and influencing the future direction of DealerRock. You will work closely with our founders on product strategy and contribute to a scalable system built for the long haul. This role offers full remote flexibility, the chance to shape a growing SaaS platform, competitive compensation, and a flexible work schedule. We are a small team tackling big challenges, prioritizing outcomes over timelines, with minimal bureaucracy to hinder our pace.
