Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience in Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, modular coding practices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with SQL and database integration, specifically with SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud systems.
- Understanding of best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including code review, unit testing, CI/CD, and version control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in Agile, multi-disciplinary environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modular software components, APIs, and microservices that comprise the SCALE analytics ecosystem.
- Create data services and integration layers to support Power BI dashboards, advanced analytics, and secure system interoperability.
- Implement RESTful APIs, data access services, and backend functionalities to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Build and sustain data pipelines and middleware that connect databases, APIs, and visualization layers.
- Incorporate data pipelines into an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) DevSecOps CI/CD environment.
- Work closely with data analysts to optimize query performance and improve data retrieval for business intelligence and forecasting tools.
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and integration processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable software products.
- Contribute to documentation, version control, and configuration management following Agile methodologies.
- Assist in the design and implementation of scalable architecture to support future AI/ML functionalities and predictive analytics modules.
