Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field from an accredited institution
- Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and troubleshooting using C++
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tackling challenging issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with operational weapon software and embedded systems
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems
- Knowledge of Git/GitLab
- Understanding of SysML, UML, or similar modeling languages
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
Clearance:
- Must currently possess a Secret clearance or higher
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile team to provide technical leadership on the integration of requirements and design for software-intensive systems
- Focus on software design, development, and unit testing to address customer mission requirements
- Engage with the Scrum team on technical issues, concerns, or conflicts
- Work alongside chief architects to ensure that technical requirements are satisfied
- Create technical documentation, including activity and sequence diagrams
