Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support position
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
- Technical degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to operate in a structured, process-oriented environment
- Familiarity with transaction processing systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of RS232 communication (preferred)
- Experience with industrial or embedded systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration (preferred)
- Industry knowledge in petroleum systems or similar fields (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues
- Apply standard support procedures and best practices
- Escalate complex cases to the R&D team with clear documentation
- Track and document all support interactions and solutions
- Ensure prompt follow-up and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and documentation
Description
We are seeking two experienced Technical Support Specialists to join our team and assist with petroleum transaction processing systems. As the primary contact for our clients, you will diagnose and resolve technical incidents while ensuring exceptional service quality. You will manage the majority of inquiries independently, utilizing established procedures, while receiving support from our R&D team for more complex matters. This on-site position offers close collaboration with the R&D team in a structured environment that encourages continuous improvement. We provide a competitive salary based on experience.
