Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or engineer in the financial markets sector
- Proficient in Tableau dashboard creation within Tableau Server environments
- Advanced skills in Python and SQL programming
- Deep knowledge of AWS environments
- Significant experience building an analytics layer in AWS Redshift
- Expertise in business analysis, data modeling, and requirements documentation
- Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting data and identifying trends
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in technical writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead technical groups
- Quick learner with a flexible and adaptive approach
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with financial market data is advantageous
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to deliver insights and support decision-making through dashboard creation
- Assist in developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies
- Clean and validate datasets to ensure precision and trustworthiness
- Design and implement dashboards using Tableau (knowledge of MicroStrategy and QuickSight is preferred)
- Conduct statistical analysis and create compelling dashboard visualizations
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ascertain business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Provide regular project status updates and deliver presentations for product deployment
Description
