Requirements
Must:
- Proficient hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Strong capabilities in prompt design, testing, and optimization
- Some programming or scripting experience (Python, JS, or similar)
- Comfortable working with workflows, APIs, or system configurations
- Experience creating chatbots, agents, automations, or internal tools
- High level of initiative, taking ownership of tasks and moving them forward independently
- Strong technical intuition, enabling problem-solving without detailed instructions
- Ability to comprehend the underlying purpose of tasks, not just the action needed
- Experience in personal projects showcasing AI agents, prompt workflows, or automations, demonstrating curiosity and experimentation with new models and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts that direct AI agents through multi-step, real-world workflows
- Develop and enhance AI agents that streamline operational and business processes
- Troubleshoot agent performance, enhance reliability, and iterate swiftly based on outcomes
- Convert high-level objectives into functioning agent logic without needing detailed guidance
- Proactively advance tasks and make reasonable assumptions in instances of incomplete requirements
- Grasp the intent behind tasks to select the most suitable technical approach
- Experiment with various prompt structures, tools, and workflows to identify optimal solutions
- Collaborate closely with both internal and client teams to translate business processes into agent workflows
- Thoroughly document prompt strategies, configurations, and system behaviors for future reference
- Share insights and improvements with the team as systems evolve
Description
At Data Skill Source, we are seeking an AI Prompt Engineer & Agent Builder to create, test, and iterate on intelligent agents for a rapidly expanding SaaS client. We value individuals who are curious and take initiative, particularly those who engage with AI projects in their spare time.
