Requirements
Must:
- Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (4 additional years of experience can substitute for a Bachelors degree. A Masters degree equates to an additional 2 years of experience, while a PhD counts as an additional 5 years)
- Over 8 years of proven experience in programming, design, and software development
- Strong expertise in Python, Java, or a related programming language
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad, etc.)
- Experience using ORM frameworks (Django, SQLAlchemy, Hibernate, etc.)
- Proficient in Linux operating systems (filesystem navigation, common management commands, etc.)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and familiarity with remote system workflows (SSH, port forwarding, server/client architecture, etc.)
- Experience in constructing and supporting solutions within cloud environments (such as OpenStack)
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools, like GitLab
Responsibilities
- Create web applications for real-time data querying and analysis within our extensive data warehouse
- Develop distributed analytics systems tailored to assist our mission partners
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for automated data retrieval and ingestion
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective solutions for data management
- Engage in regular code reviews and maintain high-quality software standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies and actively contribute to team discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise in the development process
