Requirements
Must:
- Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (Alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a Bachelors degree; Masters degree can substitute for 2 more years and PhD for 5 more years)
- Over 8 years of proven experience in programming, design, and software development
- Extensive expertise in Python, Java, or comparable programming languages
- Proficient with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad, etc.)
- Familiarity with ORM frameworks (Django, SQLAlchemy, Hibernate, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including filesystem navigation and basic management commands
- Good comprehension of TCP/IP networking and remote system operations (like SSH, port forwarding, and client/server architecture)
- Experience in building and maintaining solutions within cloud environments (e.g., OpenStack)
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and relevant tools, such as GitLab
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications enabling real-time data queries and analyses of our vast petabyte-scale data storage
- Create distributed analytics specifically designed to support our mission partners
- Assist in building and maintaining existing data pipelines that automatically retrieve and ingest data
Description
