Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in tool and die maintenance - Proficient in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis - Proven track record of enhancing efficiencies and minimizing downtime - Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership - Keen interest in personal growth and long-term career development - Ability to interpret blueprints and manufacture parts - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Capable of succeeding in a dynamic manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

- Rapidly diagnose and resolve die issues during production - Identify underlying causes and implement sustainable corrective measures - Assist production teams in reducing downtime - Conduct comprehensive die inspections after each use to ensure future readiness - Adopt a proactive stance against recurring issues rather than merely reacting to failures - Discover and execute opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational uptime - Continuously seek improvements in tooling performance - Disassemble, repair, sharpen, and reassemble dies - Manufacture new or replacement components from blueprints - Tweak dies in presses to guarantee proper functionality - Construct and maintain jigs, fixtures, and tools as required - Examine all work for precision and quality - Immediately report any non-conformance - Adhere to all safety protocols and sustain a tidy, organized workspace (7S) - Collaborate closely with production staff, supervisors, and cross-functional teams - Effectively communicate issues, enhancements, and production updates
