Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management

Requirements
Must:
- 6-8 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python, along with database development (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience in building or integrating solutions within identity and access management, identity governance, or security engineering domains
- Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC), and identity lifecycle management
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for efficient workflow orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management solutions is a plus
- Exposure to risk-based access frameworks and adaptive policy enforcement is desirable
- Understanding of access recertification, entitlement management, and identity compliance
- Experience with contemporary CI/CD pipelines, API development, or cloud identity services is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate tailored Identity and Access Management (IAM) services supporting RBAC, PBAC, PAM, and automated access solutions
- Build and enhance frameworks for risk-based access automation and policy-based authorization
- Develop and optimize capabilities for role-based access, including provisioning of birthright access
- Write clean and testable code; engage in unit, integration, and regression testing for IAM components
- Provide Level 3 engineering support, conducting root-cause analyses and resolving intricate IAM challenges
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of identity services, automation, and engineering best practices
