Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Over 3 years of Quality Assurance Testing experience with at least 2 years of hands-on Test Automation experience
- Proficiency in Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Selenium
- Practical experience with Git and Bitbucket
- Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Expertise in all testing phases including planning, design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
- Skills in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Chef InSpec, Jenkins, Ansible, and custom frameworks
- Familiarity with Git for source code management and setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of automation standards and best practices including XPath axes and CSS selectors
- Experience in Defect Management using ALM and Agile/Scrum management through JIRA
- Ability to develop, maintain, and implement functional and automated test scripts using Java and testing frameworks
- Comprehensive knowledge of regression testing, smoke and sanity testing, compatibility testing, system functional testing, and user acceptance testing
- Experience with build tools such as Maven, including maintaining the pom.xml file
- Capable of writing simple to medium complexity SQL queries
- Skill in interpreting technical designs and specifications to design automated solutions
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for middleware platforms using tools like Chef InSpec, Jenkins, Ansible, and custom frameworks
- Validate middleware configurations across on-prem and cloud environments based on infrastructure standards
- Collaborate with Product DRIs, Automation Developers, and Infrastructure teams to translate requirements into testable automation scenarios
- Maintain and enhance test coverage for regression, integration, and system validation across Tomcat, MQ, WAS, and RDQM
- Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Support Day 2 operations testing and readiness validation for middleware deployments
