Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, or enterprise security design, with extensive knowledge in cloud security architecture within AWS and Azure environments.
- Proven track record of leading and developing senior technical professionals or security architects, ensuring accountability for architectural quality and results.
- Strong foundation in supporting cloud-first security initiatives, particularly with AWS experience highly valued.
- In-depth understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements, including NIST, ISO, and CIS benchmarks.
- Ability to define target-state security architectures, create multi-year roadmaps, and deliver enterprise-scale architectural designs.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security services and controls, including IAM, encryption, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Experience integrating security architecture into DevSecOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native security tools.
- Expertise in specific security domains, including Application Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Data Protection & Encryption.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise senior technical and business leaders effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and governance of DTCCs cloud security architecture, emphasizing AWS-based platforms and cloud-first strategies.
- Define, maintain, and disseminate security architecture patterns, reference architectures, and standards to facilitate secure and scalable cloud adoption.
- Establish and maintain a robust security posture for cloud applications and services, aligning with DTCCs enterprise risk management, regulatory, and compliance standards.
- Connect domain and solution architecture, providing architectural leadership in environments where these roles may segregate.
- Assess new security capabilities, technologies, and products in collaboration with Cybersecurity, Cloud Delivery, and IT Architecture teams.
- Serve as a trusted security advisor to IT and business stakeholders, influencing security outcomes for key initiatives.
- Work closely with partner organizations, including Cloud Delivery, IT Architecture, and Cybersecurity Engineering, to back enterprise modernization efforts.
- Translate intricate security and architectural concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and develop a team of 3-5 Security Architects, balancing coaching with accountability for delivering high-quality architectural outcomes.
- Provide strategic direction and prioritization for the teams activities across architecture design, standards development, and architecture review processes.
- Cultivate a culture of security-first thinking, effective communication, and continuous improvement.
