Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or a related discipline
- 6 years of experience in application development or system analysis
- Over 6 years of practical development experience with a focus on Java/J2EE, OCP containers, Spring Framework, JDBC or other ORM technologies, along with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMockito
- In-depth experience with multithreading and optimizing complex mathematical operations across large datasets
- Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL development, including the crafting of optimized queries, stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers
- Proven track record of developing Microservices and working within layered architectures (SOA/MVC) across cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Expert-level knowledge in Java technologies, including Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, JMS, with experience in Tomcat for application server deployments
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker in designing and deploying resilient and scalable services that connect legacy and modern architectures
- Preferred experience with UI/UX technologies like Angular or equivalent frameworks
- Proficient in engineering tools such as Eclipse, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Maven, and Agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Test Automation, Build Automation, and Test-Driven Development using tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, and Git
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously, think critically, mentor team members, and adapt effectively in a dynamic setting
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of sophisticated software solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability, in line with industry best practices
- Architect and deliver high-performance applications utilizing Java/J2EE, Spring frameworks, Microservices, and distributed system design principles
- Manage the full development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and technical design to coding, testing, deployment, and production support
- Enhance application performance by employing advanced multithreading techniques and processing large, computation-heavy datasets efficiently
- Create and maintain Oracle PL/SQL components, focusing on optimized queries, stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers
- Develop and deploy robust microservices using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring compatibility with both legacy integration points and cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional partners to align solutions with business goals and technical standards
- Advocate for DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, build automation, and Test-Driven Development using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Cloud Bees
- Conduct peer code reviews, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to enhance the overall team skill set
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability and operational excellence
- Engage in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership to inform long-term technology strategies
- Exhibit strong communication, accountability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
