Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in QA Testing
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) preferred, or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Automation
- Proficiency in Java, TestNG, and Selenium
- Solid understanding of API and UI automation standards and best practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard automation design patterns such as the page object model
- In-depth familiarity with software development methodologies
- Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in an agile environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
- Experience in testing APIs using Postman or RestAssured
- Experience with multithreaded test execution
- Capability to create test-related documentation such as test plans, strategies, or post-testing reports
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing
- Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present outcomes and track defects to resolution
- Build, customize, deploy, and manage test automation frameworks
- Ensure traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
- Review test cases and automation strategies with collaborators to ensure comprehensive coverage and gather feedback
- Monitor test execution progress, report issues and risks potentially affecting project schedules
- Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios reflecting a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption of solutions and address open issues
- Identify dependencies for environmental and data needs; manage and maintain environment and data
- Provide guidance to colleagues regarding test coverage and test cases
- Develop a thorough understanding of the products being delivered
- Ensure compliance with processes and maintain relevant documentation
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risks effectively; act appropriately
- Write code for quality automation while ensuring extensive coverage of the test scenarios
