Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in software architecture or solution design, including a minimum of 3 years specializing in blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in the financial services sector, particularly in banking, payments, or capital markets.
- Practical knowledge of platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, or Polygon.
- Solid understanding of blockchain principles: consensus algorithms, smart contracts, cryptography, and tokenization.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and microservices design.
- Skills in API design, integration frameworks, and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with DeFi, CBDC, stablecoins, and digital asset custody is advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Capacity to effectively connect business and technical perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive blockchain architectures for applications in digital assets, payments, settlement, identity, and smart contracts.
- Establish blockchain adoption strategies that align with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and market developments.
- Create solution frameworks that integrate blockchain with current banking systems, APIs, cloud services, and fintech platforms.
- Work in collaboration with development teams to ensure consistency, performance, and security in blockchain-based applications.
- Partner closely with business leaders, compliance teams, and external collaborators to transform functional requirements into solid technical designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 20022, PCI DSS, GDPR, AML/KYC) and best practices related to cryptography, data privacy, and key management.
- Lead prototype projects to assess new blockchain frameworks, consensus mechanisms, and interoperability protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, design patterns, and reference architectures for blockchain implementations.
