Lead Test Engineer - Automation Specialist

Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in delivering software solutions with hands-on automated testing.
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and coordination in both onsite and offshore work environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, specifically the testing model, methodology, and procedures.
- Experience with Test Engineering strategies and Test Automation Frameworks.
- Proficiency in automation across all software layers (e.g., UI, services, APIs) and CI/CD technologies (e.g., Cloudbees, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira).
- Advanced Java/Selenium development skills with extensive application in testing environments.
- Proven capability in frontend testing automation utilizing Selenium Webdriver.
- Expertise in backend test automation for API testing (e.g., Rest Assured, Karate, Postman) and database testing (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Snowflake).
- Experience in crafting complex SQL queries.
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Ability to independently engage with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience mentoring junior test engineers and reviewing deliverables as necessary.
- Knowledge of Unix, Python, and AWS is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, collaborative, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Oversee system integration testing, including automation, for new or enhanced applications.
- Translate business and functional requirements into actionable outcomes.
- Lead the development of test automation strategies and provide critical feedback throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Application Development, and DevOps.
- Monitor test execution milestones and communicate potential issues and risks that may impact project timelines.
- Design comprehensive end-to-end business scenarios aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure successful adoption of the Delivery Pipeline.
- Identify dependencies related to environmental and data requirements.
- Contribute to the standard framework of reusable testing functions.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the products being launched.
- Ensure compliance with processes and maintain relevant documentation.
- Integrate risk and control measures into daily tasks to manage and mitigate risks appropriately.
- Work closely with business and application development experts to enhance knowledge of assigned systems.
- Manage project coordination and technical management responsibilities.
