Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Proficiency in Python, Great Expectations, or similar frameworks for data engineering project tests
- Strong skills in writing SQL test cases for manual testing and automating SQL using testing tools
- Experience in comparing data between distinct data sources using tools or Excel
- Preferred familiarity with Selenium and Java-based testing frameworks for data engineering
- Background in testing processes using ETL tools like Talend or similar is advantageous
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities
- Design, create, maintain, and implement comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios and cases for ongoing projects, ensuring thorough coverage of critical business flows with all upstream and downstream touchpoints
- Develop, integrate, and execute automation suites for vital business end-to-end flows, ensuring reusability and quicker response to post-production testing issues
- Comprehend business requirements, application functionality, release scope, and specifics of system integration
- Identify and resolve defects while enhancing the overall software testing process
- Stay updated with the latest software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Understand and apply relevant industry guidelines and standards
- Communicate the business context and added value effectively
- Actively participate in translating business and functional requirements into tangible outcomes
- Collaborate with testing partners for cross-application and cross-business testing scenarios
