Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) sector
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years as a Product Owner/Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the GRC or IT compliance domain
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience within Agile product teams
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and GRC platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, ProcessUnity)
- In-depth knowledge of GRC principles, encompassing risk management, control frameworks (such as SOX, ISO 27001), and audit procedures
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; skilled in converting business needs into technical requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), or similar qualifications
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Convert requirements into precise, testable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira
- Manage and refine the product backlog to align with sprint objectives and business priorities
- Utilize hands-on experience with GRC platforms like RSA Archer or ProcessUnity to assist in configuration and enhancement efforts
- Understand and interpret GRC processes, such as risk assessments, control testing, issue management, and audit workflows to inform solution design
- Serve as a link between business users and developers, ensuring technical solutions meet compliance and risk management needs
- Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos)
- Provide ongoing clarification and assistance to developers and QA engineers throughout the sprint lifecycle
- Identify and eliminate roadblocks that hinder team progress
- Seek opportunities to streamline GRC processes and enhance platform usability
- Define and validate acceptance criteria; support QA in test planning and execution
- Ensure deliverables meet business expectations and comply with established standards
- Generate and share regular reports and dashboards on sprint progress, backlog health, and GRC initiative status
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
