Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight)
- Experience with Power BI development and testing, including DAX and Power Query
- Familiarity with data platforms and optimization of Snowflake usage
- Knowledge of Talend
- Experience with Autosys
- Skilled in scripting or SQL for custom cost analytics and automation
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile project delivery
- Experience in developing, validating, and reporting metrics and KPIs
- Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capacity for thought leadership and the ability to challenge and influence data designs, especially with centralized data teams such as CLAW
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
- Attention to detail and strategic thinking
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, performance tuning, and maintenance of the IT Balanced Scorecard Snowflake database
- Collaborate closely with the CLAW team to refine their technical designs and data models for accuracy and scalability
- Work with Power BI developers to create data models, optimize performance, and validate visualizations and DAX logic for the IT Balanced Scorecard
- Extend database engineering support to additional Technology Governance dashboards and metrics initiatives
- Utilize Agile methodologies by participating in sprint ceremonies, managing JIRA stories, estimating work, and delivering iterative value
- Construct, document, and implement thorough test plans, including data validation and Power BI dashboard testing
- Ensure comprehensive documentation for data models, reproducibility of pipelines, and adherence to enterprise governance standards
- Develop SQL, data transformations, and schedule jobs using Talend and Autosys as needed
- Promote continuous enhancement in data quality, lineage, and the reliability of reporting metrics across Technology Governance
