Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of experience in delivering complex technology products or platforms
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Strong backend engineering expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka (or similar messaging systems)
- Practical experience with Oracle or similar relational databases
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
- Solid experience with Angular for frontend development is highly desired
- Familiarity with React and CSS is a plus
- Experience in building distributed, event-driven, or cloud-native applications
- Ability to work across the stack, focusing primarily on backend and messaging-driven components while supporting UI work as necessary
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement components for the CDTS 2.0 platform to modernize and replace legacy systems with cloud-ready solutions
- Create, test, and deploy features to enable standardized data workflows, including Kafka-based streaming and configurable routing logic
- Develop reusable, low-code platform components to improve scalability and ease of integration for downstream applications
- Collaborate closely with engineers and multi-functional partners to translate technical requirements into high-quality output within the CDTS 2.0 framework
- Assist in onboarding business applications to the CDTS 2.0 platform to ensure smooth connectivity across systems
- Debug and optimize platform components to enhance performance and ensure secure data exchange
- Engage in infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration for CDTS 2.0 deployments
- Follow engineering protocols including code quality standards, thorough documentation, and compliance with architectural guidelines
- Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to event-driven, cloud, and distributed systems and apply them to enhance platform capabilities
