Associate Director, Site Reliability Engineering

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity / IAM
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive background in Site Reliability Engineering focused on Identity Access Management platforms
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical management capacity
- Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business realms
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, or vendor-specific IAM credentials) are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement Site Reliability Engineering across all IAM platforms while ensuring system availability, resilience, scalability, and performance through coordination with Engineering and platform teams
- Design and execute end-to-end observability pipelines, data processing workflows, and automated execution environments
- Define and oversee SLI, SLOs, and SLAs, and establish comprehensive monitoring strategies for IAM system performance, drift detection, data quality, and service health
- Create real-time dashboards and alert systems that deliver actionable insights into system performance, resource usage, and service reliability, while implementing proactive monitoring strategies
- Lead incident triage and recovery efforts, facilitate post-incident reviews, and drive systemic enhancements to reduce MTTR through tools, automation, and resilient architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and application development, to ensure IAM initiatives align with organizational goals and compliance standards
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to IAM engineers working across various IAM technologies, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Oversee incident response, disaster recovery, call support, and change management processes linked to IAM tools, ensuring prompt resolution of security events and operational challenges
