Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certifications
- Proficient programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including pods, services, deployments, and stateful sets
- Understanding of Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and pod security
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Helm, Kustomize, Ansible, Terraform, and ArgoCD
- Experience deploying applications such as Spring Boot and Python to Kubernetes environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes setups
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration between development and operations teams
- Proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before impacting production
- Continuous learning mindset to navigate the evolving Kubernetes landscape
- Attention to detail in managing Kubernetes resources

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the OpenShift container infrastructure for the company
- Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to achieve shared objectives
- Enhance delivery processes with Continuous Integration through GitOps practices
- Improve the monitoring and alerting systems
- Address and resolve issues as they arise
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters
- Engage with development teams to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
- Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource usage, and cost-effectiveness
- Automate Kubernetes deployment and management using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Coordinate deployment of applications to Kubernetes namespaces by creating Dockerfiles and Helm Charts/Kustomize
