Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Over 2 years of professional experience in data development.
- More than 2 years of expertise in SQL.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data pipelines.
- Strong skills in PySpark for distributed data processing.
- Proficient in Python with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), frameworks, and testing using PyTest.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/VCS), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience in ensuring data quality and observability processes.
- Knowledge of Java/Spring Framework and cloud services, preferably Azure.
- Skills in debugging and performance tuning of applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with automated testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed data processing pipelines while orchestrating multi-step transformations using ADF.
- Implement Object-Oriented Programming transformations in Python and PySpark, ensuring unit, integration, and regression testing with PyTest.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines, create checks for data quality, and ensure application observability through alerting and monitoring.
- Provision cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Mentor junior team members and actively participate in Agile retrospectives and estimations.
- Drive ongoing improvements within our development processes.
