Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in managed services (mandatory)
- Over 6 years of direct IT support experience in a managed services setting
- Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Familiarity with networking principles and troubleshooting
- Experience with Azure and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Capability to efficiently manage multiple client environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a strong focus on documentation
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Possess a team-oriented attitude with eagerness to learn
- Professional demeanor with a client-centric approach
Responsibilities
- Provide support and upkeep for Windows-based server and workstation environments
- Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues related to systems, networking, and cloud services
- Oversee Active Directory management, Group Policy, user access, and security settings
- Assist in network administration tasks, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and switches
- Support Azure environments, including managing virtual machines, backups, and basic cloud services
- Maintain and support virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
- Document systems, procedures, and solutions in a clear and consistent manner
- Work collaboratively with Level 1 technicians, offering training and technical support
- Provide professional, prompt customer assistance in line with MSP best practices
