Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related area
- At least 1 year of practical IT experience in network operations and infrastructure support
- Proficiency with F5 Local Traffic Managers
- Experience with Microsoft Failover Clustering
- Knowledge of Azure AD/Microsoft Entra
- Familiarity with VMware
- Skills in Windows PowerShell scripting
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upkeep IT infrastructure services and enterprise applications, including F5 LTM, Microsoft Failover Clustering, and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra
- Develop architectural and deployment strategies for essential enterprise-level services
- Create scripts and automated tools for managing complex IT services and work with infrastructure teams for deployment and debugging
- Monitor and assess server and service performance; suggest and implement enhancements
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders and technical leads across various teams
- Transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Resolve intricate issues pertaining to servers, applications, and networking (Level 2 and some Level 3 support)
- Serve as a senior technical contributor during incident response and system failures
- Collaborate closely with CMS application teams to guarantee smooth integration and support
- Manage system and software patching, firmware updates, and comprehensive environment setup (OS, hardware, applications)
- Participate in an on-call support rotation
Description
We are looking for a talented IT Services Specialist to become part of our Application Operations team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a 100% on-site contract position. Our ideal candidate will engage primarily in design, configuration, and analysis of enterprise IT infrastructure, dedicating around 70% of their efforts to engineering and 30% to operational support. You will be joining a collaborative team focused on delivering top-notch IT services that meet our organizational goals.
