Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to access restricted U.S. military facilities
- Preferred experience in aerospace, defense, industrial control, or test instrumentation
- Strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and dedication to quality
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of fostering relationships across the organization
- Self-starter with excellent time management and project execution abilities
- 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or digital hardware design preferred
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers and RTOS-based environments
- Experience with PCB design software (preferably Altium) and hardware debugging
- Familiarity with microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR, STM32, MSP430) and communication protocols (UART, RS-485, SPI, PC, CAN, USB, Ethernet)
- Preferred skills in analog and digital hardware troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test embedded firmware and digital hardware for microcontrollers and custom electronic hardware
- Analyze user and system requirements to implement effective firmware solutions
- Design digital circuits and PCBs while ensuring smooth hardware and software integration
- Create technical documentation to support manufacturing and testing processes
- Engage in hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of hardware and firmware
- Collaborate closely with internal and external engineering teams to ensure product performance meets specifications
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports
- Travel to customer sites as necessary for testing or integration assistance
- Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and circuit simulation software for analysis.
