Requirements
Must:
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- In-depth knowledge of organizational applications and software
- Capability to clarify complex concepts for those with limited IT experience
- Patience and strong listening skills
- Familiarity with Windows and iOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic hardware for PCs and iPads
- Understanding of network systems, internet technologies, and cable management
- Basic electrical safety procedures knowledge
- Familiarity with interactive panels and Apple TV, while not required, is preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues for staff and students related to computers, mobile devices, and classroom technology
- Providing in-person and remote support across two school campuses
- Ordering, delivering, tagging, and assisting in the setup of classroom technology
- Managing user accounts and fulfilling move/add/change requests across various systems
- Troubleshooting network and local printer issues
- Coordinating repairs for classroom technology under third-party vendor agreements
- Performing minor hardware repairs for devices not covered by vendor agreements
- Assisting with the installation of network equipment and cabling systems
- Maintaining an inventory of technology and overseeing warranty management
- Aiding in the development of materials to address FAQs for staff and students
- Leading the initial troubleshooting of all new service requests and escalating issues as necessary
- Conducting routine checks to ensure network and systems functionality
- Communicating effectively about service requests for all items, both open and closed
- Running, testing, and troubleshooting existing cabling
- Performing other related duties as assigned
