Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
- Bachelors degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering or a related field, or a Masters degree with 6-10 years of experience.
- Additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a bachelors degree.
- Must possess an active DoD TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Experience in a SIL environment.
- Familiarity with SysML, preferably using Cameo/MagicDraw.
- Strong desire for personal and professional growth in new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both informal and small group settings.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Own the digital thread transforming innovative ideas into flight-ready capabilities for Major Release 2.
- Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces for future military systems.
- Conduct thorough analysis based on the defined requirements.
- Create SysML models utilizing MBSE tools like NoMagic Cameo Systems Modeler for simulations.
- Capture, decompose, and trace system-level requirements.
- Analyze, define, and refine system architectures and interfaces.
- Develop the structure and behavior of the system.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, as well as software, test, mechanical, and electrical teams.
