Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the sensitivity of customer-related tasks
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or Cybersecurity
- Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity
- Understanding of systems engineering processes
- Self-starter with the capability to work independently
- Strong teamwork abilities
- High-quality support and customer service orientation in a high-visibility role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including tactful negotiation of competing demands
- Customer service-focused mentality
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Warren, Michigan
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for registering DoD acquisition programs with cybersecurity programs
- Conduct trade-off analyses integrating various system security engineering disciplines
- Evaluate and balance security contributions for coherent security capability within DoD programs
- Assess cyber survivability to evaluate system performance under cyber-attack threats
- Develop comprehensive program and system protection strategies within cost, schedule, and performance constraints
- Perform program protection assessments on requirements documents for program management
- Identify critical program information (CPI) and associated vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk analyses and recommend security controls
- Document program protection planning in the systems engineering plan, program protection plan, and system security plan
- Collaborate with personnel fulfilling program protection roles
- Anticipate less than 5% travel requirements
