Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. - Bachelors degree in an IT discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or High school diploma/GED plus 13+ years of experience, or Associates degree with 7+ years of experience. - Certification in Windows 10, Linux, RHEL 7/8/9 Operating systems is required. - Proficient with DISA security tools and experience in implementing NIST 800-53 or JSIG security controls. - Experience with MSSQL versions 2014/2016/2017/2019. - Active security clearance is essential and must be maintained throughout employment. - Onsite work is mandatory; this position does not allow remote work. - Windows, Linux, or Red Hat Operating System certification and Security+ certification are required for compliance with DoD 8140. - Willingness to provide after hours/weekend support for maintenance and patching when necessary. - High standards of professionalism, courtesy, character, and integrity are expected. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with external agencies and work autonomously. - Proven experience in designing and configuring workstations, servers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), or network devices. - Ability to provide IT guidance to team members, manage ambiguous assignments, and create and execute plans independently. - Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate, define, and document operational needs, procedural requirements, and system access levels. - Integrate DOD cybersecurity policies and standards in the development of supporting cybersecurity frameworks. - Familiar with Agile/Agile Kanban methodologies for documenting formal projects. - Participate in the integration of various organizations by ensuring consistent and comprehensive cybersecurity measures are applied and documented. - Carry out security scans, SCAP, implement STIGS & eSTIGS, and conduct vulnerability assessments. - Configure systems to consistently uphold cybersecurity defenses. - Evaluate issues identified during routine assessments of the cybersecurity posture. - Utilize DOD cyber operations experience to assist mission objectives. - Help design innovative techniques for the organizations security system development, implementation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Act as a System Administrator for the F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT). - Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data by managing security programs and policies. - Monitor adherence to cybersecurity policies and user compliance, and evaluate the results of these observations. - Coordinate and synchronize cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews with relevant parties. - Implement information security measures, report incidents accordingly, and manage responses to unauthorized disclosures. - Promote and increase awareness of security principles within the organization and ensure they are reflected in our strategic goals. - Develop training programs for users to ensure they understand and follow security policies and procedures. - Participate in network and systems design to incorporate effective security principles. - Assess security incidents for impact and take corrective actions as necessary. - Supervise recovery processes to ensure that security features are fully restored and operational. - Collaborate with IT Operations Lead and Senior System Administrators on shared concerns. - Assist in assessing customer information systems for potential risks to the organization.
