Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitivity of customer requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience with at least 5 years in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- Knowledgeable in cloud-based systems, including cost and performance management
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles
- Comprehensive understanding of systems acquisition and program management aligned with DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75
- Insight into the roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing acquisition program effectiveness
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality acquisition and program documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide Systems Engineering expertise to support the acquisition process
- Design, operate, and sustain systems and components throughout the acquisition life cycle, from requirements analysis to system disposal
- Participate in one of the five Mission Integration Teams (MITs) at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts
- Conduct Operational Analysis to convert operational and functional requirements into technical specifications
- Define architectural capabilities while ensuring interoperability with the wider DAF C3BM enterprise architecture
- Assess risks associated with capabilities and collaborate with the Science & Technology Community for mitigation
- Develop management strategies for capability execution requirements to share with the Acquisition Community
- Formulate Test and Evaluation Strategies with the Acquisition Community for effective exercises and experimentation before operational delivery
- Engage in system architecture design and development for the Mission Integration Team
- Review and enhance existing Department of Defense architectural models, and create future migration pathways for connectivity
