Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. - Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. - Bachelors Degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program with 12 years of directly relevant experience, including 5 years in a DoD setting, or 15 years of directly related experience with 8 years in a DoD environment. - Experience in requirements development across production, deployment, operations, and sustainment phases. - Proficiency in architecture development and implementation. - Knowledge of Modeling and Simulation, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles. - Expertise in Verification & Validation (V&V) processes. - Experience in developing and sustaining technical data packages. - Understanding of configuration management principles. - Familiarity with network architectures, embedded systems, and application deployment across hardware platforms. - Experience in cloud deployment and virtualization environments. - Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes such as Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction, Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD), and Production & Deployment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct evaluations of program and portfolio reviews to assess technical baselines, alternative strategies, system designs, and test outcomes. - Design and execute system-level tests to ensure that subsystem and overall system performance meet approved standards. - Provide engineering support throughout acquisition phases, including material solution analysis, technology maturation, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and operational oversight. - Assess proposals by evaluating technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness. - Assist in the creation of source documentation, including ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, AoAs, Military Utility Assessments, CONOPS, and Technology Development Strategies. - Support requirements definition, analysis, architecture design, system integration, and verification and validation tasks. - Offer engineering assistance for risk management, configuration management, technical data management, interface management, and version control procedures. - Contribute to the development of Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Risk Management Plans (RMP), and other documentation related to acquisition. - Conduct formal trade studies to evaluate performance, cost-effectiveness, lifecycle costs, and various impacts including reliability, maintainability, productivity, risk, and scheduling. - Provide independent evaluations regarding system readiness for production and risk mitigation strategies. - Assist in planning and executing technical reviews, such as System Requirements Reviews (SRR) and Technology Readiness Assessments (TRA). - Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, ensuring proper integration among systems-of-systems architectures.

Our division is dedicated to supporting the Air Forces technical, acquisition, and sustainment needs by providing comprehensive support to the warfighter across a range of systems, including Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, and Command and Control Systems. This role will engage in engineering and technical management activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle, working collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure we meet mission objectives effectively.
