Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to sensitive customer requirements.
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.
- Active Top-Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance is required.
- Proficient in developing object-oriented software using C/C++ within the Visual Studio integrated development environment.
- Experience in creating AFSIM software and tools, including source code and plugin development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with agile software development teams to design, develop, test, and implement Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) solutions.
- Work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) like modelers, analysts, and technologists to determine system requirements for implementation in AFSIM and other MS&A tools.
- Conduct testing for software components and system integrations to ensure conformity with specifications.
- Utilize software best practices, including version control and documentation, for all developed and modified software.
- Construct military behavior models and entities of varying complexity within AFSIM.

As a member of our Albuquerque, NM team, you will engage with innovative simulation technologies and collaborate with seasoned military experts. We prioritize conducting capability assessments for emerging military technologies and ensuring that our tools and methodologies effectively inform Department of Defense decision-makers.
