Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is a must due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with over 5 years of relevant experience.
- Secret Clearance is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Proficiency in software development using at least one object-oriented programming language such as C++, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with network programming (sockets) and overall networking concepts.
- Experience with at least one version control system, including Git or Subversion (SVN).
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to adjust to rapidly changing requirements during the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer objectives to create system design and interface specifications.
- Collaborate with research teams to design and tailor software solutions for specific experimental goals.
- Conduct software and hardware integration and upkeep.
- Execute software component testing and system integration tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Propose new technologies and innovative strategies for fulfilling complex system requirements.
- Implement software best practices, including version control and documentation, for all developed or modified software.
