Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment
- Solid experience with low-level system components such as kernels and bootloaders
- Demonstrated ability in developing kernel exploits on modern Linux/Android platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of mobile boot chains, including bootloaders and EDL modes
- Practical experience with OEM security vulnerabilities and vendor-specific chipsets
- Familiarity with signature-check bypass techniques for lawful access scenarios
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vulnerability research on Android systems, covering both kernel and boot chain aspects
- Create and maintain effective exploit chains to ensure comprehensive file system access under legal authority
- Devise methods to access and decrypt physical Android images, beyond mere logical artifacts
- Engineer strategies to access keystore and safeguard protected data
- Develop techniques to circumvent signature checks to load custom components for data acquisition
- Stay updated with new Android and hardware revisions and adapt exploit strategies accordingly
- Work collaboratively with platform teams to integrate exploit capabilities into evidence-preservation tools
