Operations System Engineer

- Demonstrate commitment to environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures - Act as a core member of the Operations Systems Engineering team, aiding in manufacturing readiness and data validation for both new and existing products - Function as a liaison between Operations and New Product Development (NPD) to align product design, manufacturing capabilities, and system readiness - Facilitate operational readiness for new product integration, including routing validation, tooling coordination, materials planning, and training development with cross-functional partners - Assist in process validation and first article builds to ensure a smooth transition from engineering design to full-scale production - Maintain and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, part master data, lead times, and labor standards in the ERP system - Support change control processes by updating product and process data in compliance with configuration management standards - Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to secure accurate and timely release of new products into production systems - Execute the Operations Readiness Checklist, ensuring alignment with product launch milestones and capacity plans - Help identify and close gaps between design intent and production feasibility, escalate risks, and implement countermeasures to mitigate delays - Validate labor, material, and overhead cost elements in ERP during costing analysis processes; ensure updates reflect operational realities and incorporated approved engineering changes - Participate in ERP testing, upgrades, and support activities related to manufacturing systems and data flows - Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues stemming from faulty or outdated product/system data - Create or support documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing process flows - Contribute to the companys efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity - Uphold company standards of integrity, safety, fair treatment, and a positive work environment - Undertake any other responsibilities deemed necessary by management
